In the summer of 1814, on the banks of the Chippawa Creek in Upper Canada, men of the British Crown and Canadian militia stood their ground against an advancing American force. Among them were the sons and grandsons of Loyalists — men who had already sacrificed their homes and their former lives for their allegiance, and who now gave everything to defend the land they had built anew.

Among those who answered the call was the 2nd Lincoln Regiment — the Canadian militia of the Niagara frontier, men of Upper Canada who stood shoulder to shoulder with British Regulars at the Battle of Chippawa on July 5, 1814. Their courage on that field is woven into the fabric of Canadian history. This ring was inspired by one of their own — a 5th great grandfather who served in the 2nd Lincoln Regiment and gave his life in defense of Upper Canada.

This bespoke Masonic ring in 10K yellow gold is a tribute to those Brothers — the Loyalists of Upper Canada who carried the Square and Compass alongside the Union Jack into a new world, and into battle.
