Harold D. Rubin-Smith

Western Division President

Harold's Masonic journey began before he drew his first breath. His father was raised a Master Mason in August 1945, and Harold was born three years later, in 1948, into a household steeped in the Light, ethics, and brotherhood of the Craft. Freemasonry wasn't simply a tradition in the Rubin-Smith home; it was a way of life.

At fourteen, Harold took his first formal step into that world by joining the Acacia Chapter, Order of DeMolay, in Stockton, California — an experience that deepened his reverence for Masonic principles and set the course for what was to come. A decade later, he asked his father to sponsor his Masonic Petition. It was a moment his father never forgot — and one Harold carries with him still.

Harold was Raised to the Sublime Degree of Master Mason on April 24, 1972, in Channel Lodge No. 757, Stockton, California. He was twenty-four years old, newly immersed in a demanding career, and already climbing the appointed line of lodge officers. Over the decades that followed, he pursued his MBA, built a distinguished thirty-year career with the State of California, and expanded his Masonic light through the Scottish Rite, the Shrine, and the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks.

When Harold reached his 50th year as a Master Mason, the Grand Master of California — moved by the story of a son who had once presented his own father with that same honor — stepped forward personally to confer Harold's 50-Year Gold Veteran's Award. It was a moment of profound fraternal grace and a testament to the bonds that Freemasonry forges across generations.

In October 2020, Harold and his wife relocated to Pahrump, Nevada, transferring his memberships to lodges and concordant bodies in Pahrump and Las Vegas. It was there that a chance internet connection brought him together with a like-minded brother, and a shared vision was born. Together, they founded West2East Masonic Haberdashery, LLP, with a singular mission: to provide Masons and their families with regalia of a quality worthy of the Craft itself.

Past Master, Past Commander

R. Scott Stanley — Eastern Division President, Grand Lodge of Tennessee Officer Regalia

R. Scott Stanley's Masonic story is one of swift conviction and lifelong dedication. Entered as an Apprentice in June 1984 at Park Avenue Lodge No. 362, Free & Accepted Masons, Memphis, Tennessee, Scott was Passed to the degree of Fellow Craft in July and Raised to the Sublime Degree of Master Mason in August of that same year — earning his Proficiency Certificate the following year as an early mark of his commitment to the Craft.

Scott's pursuit of Masonic light did not pause at the Blue Lodge. Within months of his Raising, he had received the degrees of the Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite through Memphis Consistory, attaining the rank of Master of the Royal Secret — 32° — in November 1984. He simultaneously pursued the York Rite through Park Avenue York Rite Bodies, receiving the Royal Arch degrees, the degrees of Royal and Select Masters, and being Dubbed and Created a Knight Templar — all in September 1985.

His leadership within the Craft grew to match his passion for it. In December 2007, Scott was Elected and Installed as Excellent High Priest of Park Avenue Chapter No. 208, Royal Arch Masons. In March 2008, he was Appointed and Installed as an Officer of the Grand Lodge of Tennessee — one of the highest recognitions the Grand Lodge could bestow. That same year, in May 2008, he was Created a Knight of the Royal Order of Scotland in Nashville, one of the most prestigious and selective orders in all of Freemasonry.

Scott's York Rite leadership was completed with his Election and Installation as Thrice Illustrious Master of Park Avenue Council No. 104, Royal & Select Council of Cryptic Masons, and his subsequent Election and Installation as Commander of Park Avenue Commandery No. 31, Order of Knights Templar — the highest elected office within a Commandery, and a fitting capstone to a career of extraordinary Masonic service. Scott is a Past Master of Park Avenue Lodge No. 362 and a Past Commander of Park Avenue Commandery No. 31.

Today, Scott brings that same spirit of excellence and brotherly love to his role as Eastern Division President of West2East Masonic Haberdashery, LLP — where, together with Harold D. Rubin-Smith, he continues to serve the Craft through regalia and fraternal merchandise that brothers and their families can be truly proud to own and wear. Past Master, Past Commander.
